About Us
Judith and Mike, your hosts, are pleased to welcome you to the Summit Motor Lodge. We come from the Far North and bring with us the warmth and friendliness of the north to the sunny Bay of Plenty.
Judith, mother and homemaker, coming from a background of retail and corporate account sales, certainly understands the needs of our corporate guests and ensures that their stay with us is a comfortable and relaxing one.
Mike has been involved in education for many years and on moving to Mount Maunganui ended up managing the Mount Maunganui Sports Club.
It happened that our busy schedules meant we had little time we could share and so we decided to try working together. The Summit Motor Lodge was our choice. We saw it as a great motel for families and business people and here we are – still talking to each other and happy to share our growing knowledge of this busy and beautiful area with our guests.
Our family has been extended since coming to the Summit with Molly, a five year old Moodle, joining us. She makes a great welcoming committee for many of our guests.
